Built on the popularity of the C4 and C5 platforms, the Jack C6 was designed to further increase operator comfort and increase productivity. The C6 automatic presser foot lifter has been redesigned with new digital motor technology allowing the operator to set the foot height to the ideal setting for their sewing application. This fine tuning allows the automatic presser foot lifter to work quieter and extend its life.
The C6 comes standard with one of the most responsive direct drive motors on the market, allowing the machine to accelerate and decelerate faster than the competitors, and achieve speeds of 7000 SPM. The automatic thread chain cutter has been improved to reduce the length of the thread after trimming and the computerized sewing modes allow the C6 to function in Automatic, Semi-automatic and Manual modes; all working to increase operator comfort and efficiency.
Exclusive to the C6 is the new Fabric Thickness Detection System. This new feature allows operators/manufacturer to quickly change between various fabric types without having to manually adjust the machine. The operator can set the machine to sew light-medium or switch to heavy fabrics at the push of a button. The machines digital feed system will adjust the presser foot and feed dogs to the appropriate settings. Additionally, the C6 can be set to automatically detect fabric types. This allows for more consistent seams across various fabric types all without having to manually adjust the machine.
