The Mimowork Contour 160L is a large format (64 inches), multi application CO2 laser cutter that was designed primarily for use in the sublimation textile industry. The CCD camera, in conjunction with the Contour recognition system, captures the contours of sublimation printed fabrics and translates the contours into a cuttable file and automatically cuts the fabric.
The Contour 160L also features a conveyor table top, to allow for continuous feeding of materials. When used in conjunction with the Automatic Fabric Feeder with deviation detection, the Contour 160L can continuously feed fabric onto the conveyor table, allowing for truly automatic cutting. You can reduce your entire cutting operation to one person who supervises the machine and collects and sorts the cut pieces both increasing productivity and reducing costs.
The Contour 160L can also be used as a traditional laser cutter by importing plot, dxf and many other file types into the machine for cutting. These files can also be nested and programmed for continuous cutting with the auto fabric feeder.
This model comes equipped with a single head, 150 Watt CO2 laser tube, providing plenty of power for a wide variety of materials, from wood to technical textiles. The machine conforms to all required safety regulations prescribed by the FDA. Upgradable to 300 Watts.
